Week 9-Suzie and Agostina
This week we watched Wreck it Ralph. We made wanted posters for Babette Cole characters. We made paper helicopters. We got to use the iPads to remove all the photos and clear them for the term. In Maths we have been learning to read analouge and digital clocks. It was World Cartoon Day on Wednesday and we made some cartoons on Toondoo. The Kapahaka group went to the retirement village to perform. We had some visitors from China in our school this week. They were looking at our ways of teaching. Mr Ayson went to China last week. It is Gus's last day at school today and we will miss him!

Wind Powered Cars
Today we made some wind powered cars. Some of us had to modify our sails in order to catch the wind and push the car forward.

SciTech

Week 6- Miss H
This week we made wind vanes that show the direction of the wind. We used the Brain Box to learn about circuits. We watched the Year 6 production and it was AWESOME! This week is money week and we have been learning about money. Have a look on our maths blog to see our money problems on Puppet Pals. Also for maths we have been looking at Algebra and how to make patterns. We learnt how to use Zooburst which is a programme that lets you create pop up books. We did an experiement with some windmills for Scitech but they were not successful. Back to the drawing board!
